Friends of Art & Design, an all volunteer organization, was incorporated in 1994 as a 501c3 dedicated to working with the faculty and administration of the High School of Art & Design, to help students develop the skills they need to achieve success in school and in life.

Art & Design is a career and technical school focused on high academic and artistic achievement in the commercial arts. The school draws students from all five boroughs.

FAD Board members and supporters believe that it is every citizen’s responsibility to do all she or he can do to help every youngster achieve his or her potential, not only for the student’s welfare, but for the welfare of our society.
